EXTRA-SCHOOL DOGS, UNIQUE FRIENDS
Patience, empathy, perseverance and teamwork are what boys and girls learn from a pioneering extracurricular dog training activity.
Animals learn to obey orders, while teenagers will also take away great lessons to apply to life:
“If they are more focused, the dog responds much more. This is very good for them because they
they want to do everything quickly. This is the opposite, little by little, and we add up,
and as we add more, the dog responds to you.” (Marta Vila, director of Canine Therapies)

METHODOLOGY
The first step is to achieve the simplest: that it follows and stays still. It may seem simple, but it is complicated and requires patience. And nothing is possible without cooperation. Getting the dog to go through a tube would not be possible without the involvement of each member of the group with a specific function, which is also a learning experience. An after-school activity of one hour and fifteen minutes once a week where students learn everything necessary to educate any dog and they do it through dynamic and fun sports such as Agility, Flyball or Freesbe.
